Rimsky, Nicolas
(1886, Warsaw, Poland - January 19, 1942, Paris, France)
   He made his stage debut as an actor at age twelve and entered films in 1916 (Zhenshchina s kinzhalom, Yakov Protzanov). In 1920, he joined the Ermolïeff theatrical company in Crimea and followed the group when he settled in Paris. He resumed his film acting career in France, working mostly with Russian im­migrants (Viatcheslav / Victor Tourjansky, Alexandre Volkoff, Serge Nadejdine). He co-directed several films in which he co-starred.
