- (February 13, 1879, Moscow, Russia - 1953, France)He arrived in France in 1925 and soon became a praised playwright and stage director. His play La Comédie du Bonheur (Samoe Glavnoe) was created at the Théâtre de l'Atelier in 1927 and brought to the screen in 1940 (La Comédie du Bonheur / Ecco la fe-licità, Marcel L'Herbier; France / Italy).
