(Jack Albert Louis Charles Nin-gler / September 20, 1923, Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines, France - )

   The son of location manager Lucien Pinoteau, he en­tered films as an actor (1944 Le Carrefour des Enfants perdus / UK and USA: Children of Chaos, also assistant director, Léo Joannon). Then he worked as a property master and assistant cameraman before joining the airborne as a war correspondent (1944-1945).
