Fleischer, Alain

(January 10, 1944, Paris, France - )

   While studying modern letters, linguistics, anthropol­ogy, and semiology at the Sorbonne and at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, he practiced painting, photography, and cinema. A plastician, film­maker, and novelist, he taught in several universities and schools, including the IDHEC. He produced Cités de la Plaine (documentary, Robert Kramer, 2001).
