Feroce, Mario

(February I, 1955, Syracuse, Italy-)

   At age eighteen, he shot his first Super-8 films. He started a career as a piano player with several bands in Trieste before learning bassoon. He settled in France to work with Maurice Allard and Michel Den-ize. A concert artist and a conductor, he also directed several operas working with such singers as Luciano Pavarotti, Roberto Alagna, and Julia Migenes. In 1993, he directed his first short.
