- (Jean-Pierre Dumontet / November 26, 1927, Paris, France - July 5, 1999, Créteil, Val-de-Marne, France)Having trained at the Ecole du Vieux Colombier (he received a prize from the jury in 1949), he completed his acting apprenticeship playing at the Centre Dramatique de l'Ouest. Then he joined the Grenier-Hussenot theatrical company before enrolling in the Théâtre National Populaire for seven years. From 1959 (Deux Hommes dans Manhattan, Jean-Pierre Melville) to 1990 (Le Château de ma Mère / USA: My Mother's Castle, voice only, Yves Robert), he performed supporting roles in about sixty movies. Autobiography: 1984 Pourquoi dites-vous ça en riant? (Editions Plon).
