Cornu, Jacques-Gérard

(May 5, 1925, Paris, France - )

   A former assistant director to Jean Delannoy, Alex­andre Esway, Marc-Gilbert Sauvajon, and Emile-Edwin Reinert, he made his debut as a director at the RTF (French TV at the time) in 1951. In 1954, after a train­ing course for US TV, he became artistic director of various French TV channels: Télé Lille (1954), Paris-Télévision (1955), and Télé-Luxembourg (1957). He directed his only feature film in 1960.
