Chiesa, Christophe

(May 13, 1970, Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, France - )

   After graduating with a bachelor's degree in cinema from the University Lyon II Lumière, he completed his studies at the Fémis. From age eighteen to twenty-five, he shot about fifteen shorts. His 16-mm medium-length Mô earned him the great prize of the Munich International Festival of film schools in 1997. He co-founded with friends Autrement Cinéma, an association that releases and promotes experimental films and art videos. From the end of his studies to 2004, he ran with Rémi Mazet a film production com­pany they created (Fish and Cheap's).
