- (July 25, 1927, Meaux, Seine-et-Marne, France - March 27, 2003, Paris, France)Intending to become a lawyer, he studied law at the Sorbonne. In 1946, he went with a childhood friend to the school Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier and opted for acting. He attended Henri Rollan and Tania Bala-chova's drama courses. He played supporting and leading roles onstage, TV, and films (more than 120 movies from 1948 Le Diable boîteux, Sacha Guitry, to 2003 Elle est des nôtres, Siegrid Alnoy).
