Casabianca, Camille de

(Camille Fraisse / October 3l, l957, Paris, France - )

   The daughter of film director Alain Cavalier (b. 1931) and film editor Denise de Casabianca, she graduated from Sciences Po and earned a diploma in history. In l979, she enrolled in the political science depart­ment at the University of California, Berkeley. Having returned to France in l980, she co-wrote with her father the screenplay of Un Etrange Voyage (also actor; Alain Cavalier, l98l). She occasionally played in films (1964 L'Insoumis / US TV: Have I the Right to Kill?, Alain Cavalier; l981 Modesty, short, as herself, Bob Rafelson, USA; 1982 Die Erbtochter / Les Filles hérédi­taires, Viviane Berthommier, Jutta Bruckner, Danièle Dubroux, Marie-Christine Questerbert, Helma Sand­ers-Brahms, Ula Stôckl, West Germany / France; 1984 Les Voleurs de la Nuit / Thieves After Dark, Samuel Fuller; 1985 Contes clandestins, Dominique Crèvecoeur; P.R.O.F.S., Patrick Schulmann; l986 Rejtozkodo, Zsolt Kézcli-Kovâcs, Hungary; 1995 La Croisade d'Anne Buridan, Judith Cahen) and TV movies (l983 La Veuve rouge, Edouard Molinaro; 2006 Pour l'Amour de Dieu, Ahmed Bouchaala, Zakia Tahri).
