Amat, Jorge

(Jorge Melchor / 1949, Paris, France - )

   The son of Spanish Republican who took refuge in France in 1939, he is a bachelor of cinema and plastic arts. Some of his teachers were directors (Jean Douchet, Jacques Rivette, Jean Painlevé). In 1973, he was an assis­tant director to Fernando Arrabal's J'irai comme un Che­val fou / USA: I Will Go Like a Wild Horse / I Will Walk Like a Crazy Horse and played a small part in the film.
