   After studying law, he entered films directing two shorts. He also shot about twenty institutional films from 1985 to 1995 (Sollac, France—Télécom, EDF) and was occasionally a production manager (2001 La Femme seule à la Robe bleue, short, Léon Clémence; Comme ça, j'entends la Mer, short, Hélène Milano).
