Burger, Augustin

(1953, Algeria-)

   Having graduated with a master's degree in French literature and a bachelor's degree in linguistics, he di­rected many plays written by such authors as Brecht, Musset, Fassbinder, Corneille, Marivaux, Euripide, and Georges Bataille. He teaches the history and aesthet­ics of cinema at the Florent drama school.
