- (July 15, 1959, Algiers, Algeria-)The son of a leather worker, he was two years old when his family settled in France. After studying economics, he worked as a real estate agent. One day, while walking his dog, he met Jean-Michel Noiret and decided to join his actor's workshop. He soon began performing one-man shows and made his film debut playing a small part in Paulette, la pauvre petite Milliardaire (Claude Confortès, 1986).
