   While studying drawing and painting at the art school of Buenos Aires, she started her acting ca­reer in 1936 (Don Quijote delAltillo, Manuel Romero). Twenty films later, she went to France, where she was nicknamed the "Argentinian Atomic Bomb" and played countless femmes fatales in gangster mov­ies and comedies (from 1948 LAnge rouge, Jacques Daniel-Norman, to l988 Les Prédateurs de la Nuit, Jess Franco). In 1972, she directed and performed a feature-length, L'Appel.
