Ruspoli, Mario
(June 17, 1925, Rome, Italy-June 13, 1986, Villepinte, Seine-Saint-Denis, France)
   The son of Prince Edmundo Ruspoli de Poggio Suaza and Princess Marthe de Chambrun, he was educated in Rome, Paris, and England. In 1955, he published A la Recherche du Cachalot (Editions de Paris). The book was dedicated to Aristotle Onassis, who produced his first film (Les Hommes de la Baleine). He played in Era lei che lo voleva (Marino Girolami, Giorgio C. Simonelli, Italy). Other books: 1947 Blues, Poésie de l'Amérique noire; 1965 Le Groupe synchrone audiovisuel léger; 1975 Petit Breviaire de la Cuisine étrusque et romaine (Mario Ruspoli); 1980 Revivre Venise avec les grands Voyageurs (Maison du Livre Italien); 1986 Las-caux, un nouveau Regard (co-author with Brigitte and Gilles Delluc, Editions Bordas).
