Rousseau, Jean-Claude

(1946, Paris, France-)

   In the 1970s, he discovered avant-garde cinema in New York, leading him to shoot experimental films. The first screenplay he wrote, Le Concert champêtre (1980), was published in 2001 (Editions Paris Ex­périmental). He considers all his movies as fictions / documentaries (they are filmed without screenplays). Other credit (as narrator): 2004 L'Exemple de Ramuz (medium-length, Franck Ciochetti).
