- (December 3, 1897, Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, France - July 10, 1969, Paris, France)The son of Léon Richebé, a movie theater owner from Marseille, he began working with his father in 1917. He created several cinemas (le Capitole in Marseille, le Variétés in Toulouse, the Métropole in Brussels, Belgium) before switching to production. He co-founded with Pierre Braunberger Les Etablissements Braunberger-Richebé (1929-1933). Then he formed an association with Marcel Pagnol (Les Films Marcel Pagnol, 1933) before creating his own production company. He co-wrote two movies (1941 Le Roman de Renard / UK: The Tale of the Fox / USA: The Story of the Fox, animation, as co-screenwriter, producer, Irène and Wladyslaw Starewicz, shot in 1930; 1952 Der Zarewitsch / Le Tzarevitch, as co-screenwriter, co-adapter, Arthur-Maria Raben-alt; West Germany / France).
