Régnier, Georges

(April 17, 1913, Paris, France-)

   He was successively a co-cinematographer (1933 Trois Balles dans la Peau, Roger Lion; 1938 Carrefour, Kurt Bernhardt), camera operator (1938 Retour à l'Aube / USA: She Returned at Dawn, Henri Decoin), and assistant director (1947 Panique / USA: Panic, Julien Duvivier). He wrote several technical books, including Le Cinéma d'Amateur (Editions Larousse / Montel, 1969).
