Pujol, René

(August 18, 1888, Bordeaux, Gi­ronde, France - January 21, 1942, Paris, France)

   A lyricist and author of operettas, he made his directing debut in 1930. He collaborated on about fifty movies (from 1930 Mon Gosse de Père, Jean de Limur, to 1945 Le Roi des Resquilleurs, Jean Devaivre), as a screenwriter, dialogist, and sometimes composer and lyricist.
