Poitou-Weber, Gérard

(April 6, 1939, Draveil, Essonne, France - )

   A former student at the Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures (1961-1963), he taught mathemat­ics before switching to journalism and creating a monthly magazine (Le Bel Âge). After collaborating on the daily newspaper Libération and organizing variety shows, he entered French TV thanks to producer Daisy de Galard and filmed short subjects for Dim Dam Dom (1967-1970).
