Perrin, Laurent

(April 28, 1955, Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, France - )

   He started as a second assistant director (1977 The Prince and the Pauper / Crossed Swords, Richard Fleischer, UK / USA; 1981 Les Ailes de la Colombe, Benoît Jacquot) and began directing shorts in the late 1970s. In 1979, he collaborated as film critic on the Cahiers du Cinéma. Other credits (as actor): 1989 L'Enfant de l'Hiver / USA: Winter's Child (Olivier Assayas); 2005 Des Jours dans la Rue (short, Arthur Harari); (as cinematographer): 2006 Noise (documentary, Olivier Assayas).
