(January 15, 1907, London, England, UK-December 9, 1980, Paris, France)
Born in Soho, London, to an Italian father from Genoa and a French mother, he was seven years old when his parents settled in Italy. After studying law, he started his professional life as an art and literary critic. His knowledge of English led him to American and British film dubbing.
