- (August 31, 1943, Marciac, Gers, France - )He dropped out of school at age sixteen and earned a living as a street merchant of vegetables in Lourdes. Thanks to one of his clients, he moved to Paris, where he worked as a shop assistant in a grocery store. After attending acting lessons, he made his stage debut in 1974. Seen in more than sixty films, he co-wrote some of them (1983 La Matiouette ou ^Arrière-Pays, medium-length, also author of original play; 1989 Le Café des Jules, Paul Vecchiali).
