Labro, Maurice

(September 21, 1910, Courbe-voie, Hauts-de-Seine, France - March 23, 1987, Paris, France)

   Having trained at the Ecole nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, he entered films in 1928 as an assist­ant to director Max de Rieux and successively was an assistant cameraman for the Paramount (1930), cinematographer (1931 Le Train des Suicidés, Edmond T. Gréville), location manager (1932), assistant editor (1933), production manager (1934), journalist, and finally film director.
