- (Samir Karmann / September 23, 1953, Port-Saïd, Egypt-)Having been trained as an actor at the Cours Florent and the Ecole de la Rue Blanche, he joined for ten years the theatrical company created by Jean-Pierre Bouvier (Théâtre d'Action Populaire). He made his first acting appearances on TV in 1980 and entered films in 1982 (Le Grand Pardon, Alexandre Arcady). Seen mainly in supporting roles, he became a familiar face for French TV audiences when he performed Inspector Barrada in the Navarro TV series (1989-1995).
