- (September I, 1940, Marseille, Bouches-du-Rhône, France - )Having been discharged from his military service (two years in Algeria), he became an assistant director (Henri Verneuil, Alex Joffé, Pierre Kast, Gilles Grangier). After shooting many commercials, he directed his first comedy (La Frisée aux Lardons). A globe-trotter for ten years, he traveled across South America, Asia, and Africa shooting many TV documentaries and reports.
