Baily, Edwin

   Settled in Paris at eighteen, he started out as assist­ant cameraman. In 1980, he created his own produc­tion company, Square Productions, which financed documentaries and fiction shorts (1986 Outremer Marie de Laubier; 1992 La Plage, Patrick Bokanowski; 2002 Le Canard à lOrangeF Patrick Bokanowski). He also was a cinematographer (1984 La Part du Hasard, short, Patrick Bokanowski; 1992 Les Jardins du Luxem­bourg, documentary, Joële Van Effenterre).
