   The daughter of Bosnian parents, she lived in Mo­rocco until age seventeen. She attended the IDHEC after studying the history of art. Then she edited several films (1986 Festin, short, Sylvain Ledey; 1987 Horizons artificiels (Trois Rêves d'Architecture), medium-length documentary, Alain Bourges; 1991 Carne, short, also producer, actor, Gaspar Noé; 1994 La Baigneuse, short, Joël Leberre; 1997 Le Marquis de Slime, short, Quelou Parente; 1998 Seul contre Tous / USA: I Stand Alone, Gaspar Noé).She also played in a short (1986 Mademoiselle Solange, Professeur de Danse et de Maintien, Stéphane Violet) and a feature-length film (1988 Les Cinéphiles / Les Cinéphiles: Le Retour de Jean, Louis Skorecki).
