Megaton, Olivier

(Olivier Fontana / August 6, 1965, France - )

   His pseudonym refers to the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, which happened twenty years before his birth to the day. A graphic artist and an adept of graffiti, he was spotted and encouraged by com­mercials director Jean-Baptiste Mondino. He began directing shorts, video clips, and then feature films. He authored a novel (1998 Le Facteur humain, Edition Florent Massot). Other credit (as second unit direc­tor): 2007 Hitman (Xavier Gens, USA).
